Below Photographs. This is the 0-5760 Foot Artillery Aiming Circle. It was developed for the 15cm. s.F.H. 1902. It continued in serve until the end of WW1. By around 1916, this style aiming circle was converted to the 0-6400 scale. The old style non-optical aiming circle and sight also continued in service as a backup to this instrument. The compass is detachable from the aiming circle and can be used on the mount and tripod or held be hand.
